Obit:
Once again (illegable) monster has visited our neighborhood, taking away in his cold embrace Mrs. Edna Yarborough and infant babe. Their remains placed in the same casket, were interred in the Big Sandy cementery, a host of sorrowing relatves and friends attending the funeral. Mrs. Yarbrough was the faithful and devoted wife of Riggs Yarbrough and the daughter of Mr. and Mr. C.T. Mitchell. She was born Jan. 28, 1880, and departed this life No. 20, 1912. Her life was pure and she died in the full faith and hope of a Christian, and to each of the bereaved there can come this consolation: One less to love me here; one less to greet me with fond caress And words of cheer. But oh, thank God! there is one more to welcome me on the other shore with voice so dear. Alfred Howell
