GRAVETTE — Franklin D. Pierce, 74, of Gravette died Aug. 12, 2008, in Springdale. He was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Almyra to Wesley and Nellie Welch Pierce.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Oaks Pierce of the home; four sons, Junior Pierce of Siloam Springs, Jimmy Pierce of Gravette, Chris Pierce of Anderson, Mo., and Adam Pierce of Gravette; one daughter, Brenda Pierce of Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, Johnny Pierce of Springdale, Billy Pierce of Waterloo, Iowa, Dubber Pierce of Gentry and Bobby Pierce of Gentry; one sister, Bea Douglas of Springdale; six grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be at Word Cemetery at Gravette.
Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, online at www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
