Mary Lou Hook, 79 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on November 28, 2017 at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on September 27, 1938 in Decatur, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Russell Hook and Lena Mae Dill Hook. Mary lived all of her life in Decatur and Siloam Springs. She attended Decatur United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Hook and Lena Rose; and one brother, Bobby Dill.
She is survived by two brothers, Vernon Hook and wife Jean Rae of Noel, Missouri, and Ray Dean Hook and wife Joyce of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Irene Barnes and husband Earl of Hutchinson, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Bill Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Falling Springs Cemetery, near Decatur, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
