COLCORD, Okla. — Bruce E. Dancer, 81, of Colcord died Oct. 21, 2008, in Siloam Springs. He was born July 19, 1927, in Woodston, Kan., to Paul Dancer and Lulu Parks Dancer.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an auto mechanic and farmer and a member of the American Legion. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by two stepsons.

Survivors include his wife, Ora Faye McVay Dancer of the home; his daughter, Margaret Irwin of Tempe, Ariz.; three stepsons; four stepdaughters; three brothers, Junior Dancer and Lee Dancer, both of Springdale, and Chester Dancer of Tulsa, Okla.; his sister, Pauline Edwards of Quawpaw, Okla.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. Mark Rotramel will officiate. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

COLCORD, Okla. — Faye Dancer, 93, of Colcord, Okla., died April 11, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born July 1, 1920, in Marshall, Ark., she was the daughter of Walter and Anna Horton McVay.

She married Bruce Dancer on June 14, 1976, in Miami, Okla. Faye was a homemaker was active in Kind at Heart Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Gregory in 1968; her second husband, Bruce Dancer in 2008; three sons, Michael Gregory, Willard Gregory and Henry Gregory; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two brothers; and one sister.

Her survivors include two sons, Truman Gregory and wife, Linda, of Decatur, Ark., and Pete Gregory and wife, Rita, of Watts, Okla.; four daughters, Jamie Eldridge and husband, Johnnie, of Springdale, Ark., Norma Patterson and husband, Joe, of Springdale, Sammie Lou Fletcher of Colcord, Okla., and Marsha Davidson and husband, Danny, of Colcord; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lonnie McVay of Bentonville, Ark., and Joe McVay of Rockford, Ill.; four sisters, Edna Yingst of Bentonville, Ruth McNally of Phoenix, Ariz., Mary Cody of Phoenix and Wanda Finnely of Arizona.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Wayne Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Ark.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
