Married Ellen Ringgenburg Jan 29, 1916 in Springfield, Greene Co., MO
John Lavy Daws was fatally shot by Jack Cantrell near Roy Seawright's Store. The newspaper account of the shooting indicated that John Lavy Daws' wife was postmistress at Advance, Arkansas.
