William Ellis Daws, 56, of Lone Rock died Sunday in a hospital at Benton, and funeral services were held at 2PM Tuesday at the Burnt Schoolhouse with Rev Frank Horst officiating.
Mr. Daws, son of the late W.H. and Ida Daws was born at Advance on March 30, 1901, and was a farmer prior to his illness. His father was a native of Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Daws; four sons, James John, Robert and Taylor; two daughters, Linda and Billie; two brothers, Dallas Daws and Wilson Daws, both of Kansas City, MO, and three sisters, Mrs. Martha McCrary and Mrs. Jessie Wiltfong, both of Lebanon, MO, and Mrs. Beulah Beavers of Lone Rock.
Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery. Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
