Obit:
Mary Dean Pierce Henderson, age 77, of Chidester, went to be with the Lord, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Life Touch Hospice in Eldorado.
She was born March 17, 1938 in Tinsman, a daughter of the late Ted and Alma Laws.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Henderson; sister, Jean Hutcheson and brother, Edward Laws.
Survivors include her son, Nolan Pierce (Rosie) of New Edinburg; daughter, Denise Bambico of Bearden; grandchildren, Jimmy Avant (Rhea Lynn), Chris Rich (Angie), Candace Bambico (Matt), Rachel Pierce, Jessica Rothwell, Justin Rothwell; great grandchildren; Sadie Leon, Jaxon Avant, Presley Avant, Kaley Highsmith, Jr. Chambers, Keyundra Bunn, Nikki Owens; sisters, Edna Ballard of Dermott, Bernice Ortega of Lone Star, Texas, Jeanette Braswell (Buddy) of Mims, Texas; brother, Tommy Laws (Joyce) of Kingsland and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at White Oak Baptist Church in Chidester with Brother Doug Higginbottom and Brother Bill Kenner officiating. Memorials can be made to Life Touch Hospice in Eldorado or White Oak Baptist Church in Chidester. Special thanks to Life Touch Hospice for the wonderful care they gave. Cremation arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
