1895 - 1973
Mrs. Beulah A. Matthews, 77, of Hot Springs, formerly of Camden died Wednesday. Mrs. Matthews was a member of the Methodist Church and a retired Telephone Company Supervisor. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Joanne Varricchio of Hot Springs, four brothers, Earl Jones of Camden, Jessie Jones of Bowling Green, Mo., Otha Jones of St. Louis, and Willard R. Jones of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Walker, Camden; and Mrs. Maude Collins, Memphis. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Proctors Chapel with burial in McFarland Cemetery near Banks. Arrangements were made by Proctor's Funeral Home. (Camden News - August 17, 1973)
