Mr. Horace Ulysses Hiatt 96, of Clinton, Arkansas died Monday, April 1, 2013. He was born February 18, 1917 at Munci, Indiana to the late Amos Fred and Ivy Pearl (Mooney) Hiatt.
He attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church of Center Ridge, Arkansas. He was a veteran of U.S. Army and served in World War 1I in Normandy, fought at the Battle of the Bulge in 1944 -45 in Belgium, and recieved the Bronze Star at Iceland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Margurite (Tuszynski) Hiatt of the home, three sons, Fred Hiatt of Clinton, AR; Horace Doherty of Swanage Dorsett, England; and Larry Hiatt of Elkhart, IN; one daughter, Joan Kirk of Clinton, AR; eleven grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and many friends.
Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
