When Clemens Dominic 'Clem' Hamling was born on August 1, 1914, in St Vincent, Arkansas, his father, John, was 48 and his mother, Mary, was 39. He married Donna Anastasia 'Donnie' Paladino on October 26, 1939, in Center Ridge, Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on July 11, 1966, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 51, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
