When Josephina 'Giuseppa' Marie Rossi was born on December 4, 1896, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, her father, Giuseppe, was 46, and her mother, Maria, was 29. She married Anthony Luke 'Tony' DeSalvo on November 10, 1916, in her hometown. They had nine children in 16 years. She died on April 18, 1934, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 37, and was buried there.
