Beadie McDiarmid Ross, age 94, of Banks, Ark. died Saturday, April 8, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. She was born October 1, 1911 in Bradley County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Hugh Wagnon and Lula Watson Wagnon. She was a homemaker, a member of the Banks Missionary Baptist Church and she retired in l986 as a LPN for the Bradley County Medical Center with 25 years of service. She was a member and elder of the Banks Presbyterian Church until the church closed. Surviving is a son Danny McDiarmid and spouse Linda, Banks, Ark; 2 daughters Shirley Priddy , Shreveport, La. and Joy E. Lewis, Blue Springs, Misouri; 2 stepsons Don Ross and Spouse April, Little Rock, Ark. and Barney Ross and spouse Kay, Shirley, Ark; 2 sisters Mildred Steelman, Banks, Ark. and Maudell Smith, Camden, Ark; a stepson in law Bill Bolden, King George, Va; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren. 2 husbands Smith McDiarmid and James P. Ross, 2 son-in-laws Jim Priddy and Laverne Lewis, a step daughter Dorothy Bolden; 6 brothers Odell Wagnon, John T. Wagnon, Hugh E. Wagnon, Joseph Wagnon, Glyn Wagnon and Burnett Wagnon and a sister Estelle McFarland also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 2:00pm Wednesday April 12, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Toney Rhinehart and Rev. DeWayne Ashcraft officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Rev. Toney Rhinehart and Shelby Reep. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Dr. Gale McFarland, Mike Steelman, Nick Wagnon, Don Smith, Phillip Smith and Terry Tucker. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Wagnon, Johnny Wagnon, Bill Wagnon, David Wagnon, Bill Glenn Wagnon, Jimmy Tucker, Jaker Smith, Randall VanDerzwalm, Richard Hines and Dr. David Foscue.
