Margie Maxine Flowers, age 79, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009. She was born May 10, 1930, in Lanty, Arkansas, a daughter of Edward Percy Hillis and Nona Mae Long Hillis. She was retired from Morrilton Plastics and the widow of Loyd Flowers. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Hoyt of Morrilton; three sisters, Iva Lee Sledge and Allene Hamm both of Morrilton, and Alice Bridges of Kennett, Missouri; two brothers, John Hillis of Morrilton and Doyle Hillis of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Jim Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
