Oma Della Brown who was known as Della to those that knew her was born to John Jackson and Mary Jane Gilmore Brown in Johnson County, Arkansas. Della was married to Arthur Farnsworth in Johnson County, Arkansas December 2, 1900. During this union there was 1 daughter Eula Lavelle and a son Bernie who died as a child. After the death of her father in 1901 and her mothers death in 1903, Della took in her siblings while living in Mulberry, Crawford County, Arkansas. Della's fathers family as well lived in this area. After the death of Della's husband Arthur, Della sent her 2 brothers and remaining sister to live with another sister, Victoriia "Torre" living in Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas and Della and children moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma for a while and returning. Della then married Clifford Benjamin Stallings in Johnson County, Arkansas on April 1911. Della and husband lived in The small town of Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas where they adopted a son named Harold Robert Davis Stallings. Della eventually moved to Little Rock and other towns in Arkansas before her death. Della is buried by her husband Clifford Stallings at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
At this time there is not a burial location for Della's first husband Arthur Farnsworth who passed away probably around the Mulberry, Crawford County, Arkansas area or her son Bernie Farnsworth.
