Jim W. Scroggins, age, 61, went to be with the Lord, Sunday October 11, 2009. Jim was born November 16, 1947 at Center Ridge, Arkansas, to the late Herbert and Nellie Polk Scroggins. He was a graduate of Nemo Vista High School. Jim married Nova Scroggins on December 14, 1968 in Shirley, Arkansas.

Jim was a faithful member and deacon of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a usher and enjoyed checking on needed maintenance and repairs around the church facility. He was retired from Coca-Cola Enterprises of Morrilton where he was a Service Technician for 32 years spending the majority of his career doing maintenance work in the Harrison, Conway, and Morrilton areas.

Left behind to honor his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Nova Caldwell Scroggins; their devoted daughter and son-in-law, Julie Scroggins-Bingham and Jeremy Bingham of Oppelo; one brother Willie Jay Scroggins of Morrilton; brother and sister in law, David and Janie Scroggins of Hattieville; two sisters, Betty Collins and Addie McCoy of Morrilton; nephews, Harold, Donald and James McCoy of Morrilton, Shannon (Teresa) Scroggins of Birdtown and Jeff (Misty) Scroggins of Lanty; one niece, Terri (Michael) Nelson of Plumerville. He is also survived by ten great nieces and nephews and six great-great nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother and his mother and father-in-law, Ed and Glenna Caldwell.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Maintenance Fund or Arkansas Childrens Hospital.
