Lee Roy Scroggins married Mary Ann Harvey in Van Buren, Arkansas, on September 28, 1897, when he was 60 years old.
When Lee Roy Scroggins was born on January 1, 1837, his father, Henson, was 34 and his mother, Malinda, was 23. He was married three times and had seven sons and five daughters. He died on February 25, 1909, at the age of 72, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
