When Myrtle Lucille Flowers was born on July 17, 1926, in Conway, Arkansas, her father, William, was 37, and her mother, Sara, was 27. She had two brothers and three sisters. She died on October 12, 1980, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 54, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
