Mrs Lois V Simms, 76, of Clarksville died Friday, October 9, 1998, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. A native of Coal Hill and daughter of the late Edward T and Celia King Vardaman, she was a graduate of Coal Hill High School, and a member of the First Baptist Church and the PEO. Survivors include her husband, L J Simms; 2 sons, John Simms of North Attleboro, Massachussets, and Tommy Simms of Fort Smith; 1 sister, Lucille Martin of Paris; 1 brother, E T Vardaman of Little Rock
