Betty Evelyn Campbell, 83, of Clarksville died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Countryside Nursing Home. Born November 1, 1928, in Ford County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Rachel Holt Strayer. Betty was a graduate of Glendale High School in Glendale, California, and attended Marymount College in Hollywood, California. She married Roger Campbell in 1948 in Glendale, California.She moved to Clarksville in 1969 from Kansas City Missouri, and built several businesses in Clarksville including Pablos, Settlers Inn, Parlor Club, Barbecue, Steak & Carrot Cake, Landing Furniture and Daylight Donuts. She was a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Russellville.
