When Georgia Ann Etheridge was born on August 24, 1878, in Lick Mountain, Arkansas, her father, Morton, was 31, and her mother, Matilda, was 31. She married William Tecumseh Sherman Etheridge in 1893. They had 15 children in 15 years. She died on March 13, 1944, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried there.
