Kenneth R. Walters, 85, of Clarksville died Monday, August 1, 2011, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.He was a native of Parsons, Kansas, son of the late Elmer Thomas and Emma Susan Essig Walters, member of First United Methodist Church, retired superintendent of Hanford Produce Company, Navy veteran of World War II, past president of the Johnson County Twirlers Square Dance Club, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Walters; 1 brother, Meryl Walters; 1 grandchild, Keith Courson; & 1 great-grandchild, Leigh Davenport.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Sharon Brantley of Brunswick, Georgia, Rae Ann Brooke of Conway, and Marilyn Chrisman of Hartman; 1 son, George Kilgore of Clarksville; 3 brothers, Leslie Walters of Coffeyville, Kansas, Lowell Walters of Aurora, Colorado, and Ronnie Walters of Erie, Kansas; 1 sister, Sandra Nance of McCune, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grand children; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
