Melton Sampley, 72 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 in a local hospital.
He was a furniture factory work at Riverside Furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents Melton Lee and Imogene (Alumbaugh) Sampley.
Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, August 17, 2015 at Houston Cemetery near Altus, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife Joyce of the home; one daughter Deborah Gaston of Lawrence, KS; two sons Terrance Gene Sampley of Van Buren and Stacey Lee Sampley of Fort Smith; two sisters Cassie Woods and Shirley Ann Jackson both of Spiro, OK; three brothers Joe & Donald Sampley both of Van Buren and Sherman Sampley of Dyer; four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe, Sherman, Eddie and Justin Sampley, Justin Lingo and Gary Lindsey
