When Susie Mae Wilson was born on July 24, 1921, in Arkansas, her father, James, was 33, and her mother, Mary, was 32. She married Carmel M Maxwell on January 4, 1947, in Pope, Arkansas. They had two children during their marriage. She died on September 13, 1971, at the age of 50.
