Mauvourneen “Midge” Parnell, 98, of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Midge was born January 9, 1920 in Hutton Valley, Missouri to Homer and Leta (Rosenbum) Daniel.

Midge loved to work in her garden and cook for her family. Most of all, she loved playing with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Midge is survived by: two grandchildren: Tony (Jessica) Parnell and Misty Parnell of Norfork, Arkansas; six great grandchildren: Will Dockins, Emma, Dockins, Ashley (Shane) Ferrell, Alyssa Parnell, Kohnner Harmon, and Kaylynn Chapman; three great-great grandchildren: Laiken, Riley, and Madilyn Ferrell; one daughter-in-law, Kay Gragg; three nieces: Mary Lee (Don) Orlando, Beth (Dave) Stout, Leta (Kent) Martin and two nephews: Johnny (Ella Mae) Helton and Randy Ware.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Parnell; her parents, Homer and Leta Daniel; son, Harold Parnell; granddaughter, Kristy Parnell; grandson, Marty Parnell and numerous brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas with Pastor David Wiley officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
