When Hobert McKinley Andrews was born on December 10, 1898, in Conway, Arkansas, his father, John, was 45 and his mother, Mary, was 41. He married Leono Stracener on August 10, 1919, in his hometown. They had six children in 15 years. He died on December 9, 1948, at the age of 49, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
