SPRINGDALE — Estela Garcia Strong, 49, of Springdale died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at her home. She was born March 13, 1965, in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Jose and Maria Natividad Galvan Garcia.
She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, James Strong of the home; a stepson, Lewis Strong and wife, Tomika, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; her mother, Maria Natividad Galvan of Irapuato, Mexico; four brothers, Angel Garcia of Springdale, Ricardo Garcia, Jose Garcia and Juvenil Garcia, all of Irapuato, Mexico; three sisters, Delfina Araujo of Fort Smith, Antonia Garcia and Maria de Jesus Garcia, both of Irapuato, Mexico; and three grandchildren, Zeynel, Kayla and Kenny.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home.
