Betty Lou Scroggin Oliger, age 77, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017. She was born November 11, 1939 in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Hulus Scroggin and the late Ruby Scroggin. She was a Timex Watch Inspector, member of First General Baptist Church in Austin, Arkansas and a member of United States Bowling Congress.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edral Oliger; children, Pamela Ann Charles of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Randy Carl (Amy) Oliger of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Gloria Renee Hadley of Fayetteville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Amy, Kim, Jodie, J.J., Randall, Nate, and Ashley; twenty five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Geneva Scroggin, Johnnie Mayall, and Sharon Gilmore; brother, Doyle Scroggin; granddaughter, Brittany Oliger; and nephew, Greg Mayall.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9, at Harris Chapel with Rev. Ben Leonard officiating. Burial will be at Lost Corner Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at funeral home.
