When Laura Ann Scroggins was born on November 11, 1881, her father, James, was 25, and her mother, Sarah, was 26. She married Thomas James Foster and they had one son together. She then married Dennis Carpenter Scroggins and they had three children together. She died on August 20, 1962, at the age of 80, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
