This large manufactured stone has been broken into three pieces since at least the late 1980's and probably much earlier. In this picture that was taken December 8, 2008, an individual holds the two upper pieces in place so that a photograph of the entire monument could be taken. The top segment contains the large Masonic emblem. The second part contains all of the Robert Livingston data and most of the Polly Livingston data. The bottom segment that is still standing contains the remainder of the data for Polly Livingston. Note that they both died in October 1870. After the photograph was made, the two upper segments were leaned against the tree that is at the head of the graves with the inscriptions toward the tree as they have been for a number of years. Even though the stone is broken, the inscriptions are still remarkably clear.
