Judy M. Howles, age 67,of Forrest City, died Tuesday at her home in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several years.

Mrs. Howles was born May 7, 1948, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of R. B. Chapman and Evelyn Curtis Chapman. She lived in Forrest City all of her life, was a retired District Court Clerk for St. Francis County, and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God.

Mrs. Howles married Jerry J. Howles in 1972, and he survives her along with four brothers; Donald Chapman, and wife, Deb, Bobby Chapman, and wife, Esther, and Gary Chapman, and wife, Karen, all of Forrest City, and George Chapman, and wife, Brenda, of Heber Springs, one sister, Rhonda Nicks, and husband, Ed, of Heber Springs, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She had two nephews, Donnie Chapman and Austin Chapman, who preceded her in death.

Services for Mrs. Howles will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M. Friday, with burial in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday evening, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. At Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
