Helen Clementine Zimmerman Hoyt Greeson, age 92, of Oppelo, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016. She was born Nov. 29, 1923 in Hattieville, Ark. She was the oldest daughter of John A. Zimmerman and Josephine Gottsponer Zimmerman. She was a homemaker, helping run the family farm and making a home for her children throughout her life. As a life-long member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, she was active in the Parish Council, Altar Society, Respect Life Office, and was a Eucharistic Minister.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John Ike Zimmerman, Carl Zimmerman and Adolph J. Zimmerman and one sister, Regina Zimmerman Huddleston. Also preceding her in death were two husbands, Carl H. Hoyt and Robert R. Greeson Sr.; one son, Richard H. Hoyt and two grandchildren, Christopher S. Hoyt and Stephen K. Magie Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Philip (Linda) Hoyt, Robert "Bobby" (Vivian) Hoyt, William "Billy" (Geraldine Hoyt Fortier) Hoyt, Johnny (Libby) Hoyt, David "Butch" (Kay) Hoyt, and Robert "Buddy" (Sandy) Greeson; daughters, Jeanette (Jimmy) Lentz, Bernadette "Bernie" (Keith) Leach, Mary R. "Becky" (Steve) Magie, Angela "Angie" (Mike; William) Wilson, Stephanie (Steve) Wofford, and Dorothy "Dottie" Greeson; thirty-five grandchildren; seventy-five great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.

The family will receive friends after a Rosary Service at Harris Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Oppelo at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 with Father Richard Davis presiding. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund. All arrangements have been made by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
