Janie Leosha Chism Bradford age 56, of Forrest City, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Bradford was born September 4, 1959 in Forrest City. She was the daughter of Calvin Chism and Pauline Ellison Chism Dallas. She had made her home in Forrest City all of her life, was a housewife and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Bradford was an avid Razorback fan, loved to fish and more than anything loved all of her family.
Mrs. Bradford married James E. Bradford in 1976. He survives her along with a daughter, Heather Bradford; a son, James Calvin Bradford both of Forrest City; six sisters, Charlotte Chism Sallis of Charlotte, NC, Jenny Abbott of Forrest City, Paulette McGowan of Palestine, Jackie Busby of Forrest City, Vernell Brown of Colt and Hope Davenport of Forrest City; a brother Shane Dallas of Caldwell. Nine grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Vernon Dallas; a sister Shelia Gordon and a grandson Jessie James Perdew.
Services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery. Visitation will be form 6 to 8 Friday at the funeral home.
