Arthur Bradley, Sr, 93, of 603 N. Jefferson Ave., El Dorado, died Thursday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 8, 1877, in Clinton, and was a prominent real estate dealer and a resident of El Dorado since 1921. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Bradley was a charter member of the Gideon Camp and a charter member of the El Dorado Board of Realtors. He was a life member of the El Dorado Lions Club and a life member of the Salvation Army. He was also a member of the Salvation Army Board. He was a life member of the Administrative Board of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Frances Asbury Sunday School Class. Survivors include a son, Arthur Bradley, Jr., El Dorado; two daughters, Mrs. Charles H. Lewis, Strong, and Mrs. Charles N. Burns, Smackover; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Alvin Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. The family will be at the home of Arthur Bradley, Jr., 1619 W. Hillsboro St. (El Dorado Times - January 2, 1971)
