Fern G Kafka, 82, of Paris died Friday, August 27, 2004, in Paris of natural causes. She was a retired teacher and a member of Southside Baptist Church, Women's Missionary Union, Logan County Historical Society and PEO, and Past President of the Logan County Museum Association. She is survived by her husband, James A Kafka of the home; 2 daughters, Carolyn K Huber and son-in-law Mark R Huber of Paris, and Georgann Kafka of Texas; a granddaughter, Jackie L Stone of Conway; a grandson, Sergeant Jason A Pollock of Killeen, Texas; and 2 sisters, Lois Rains of Paris and Rebecca Dorrough of Little Rock. Pallbearers will be Johnny Culver, Colonel David T Dorrough, Doug Harley, Charlie Reams, Bob Porter and Tommy Bauer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Scrivner and M M Crowe.
