Jimmy Don Appleton, 64, of Paris, Arkansas died Friday, January 15, 2010 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born September 16, 1945 in Paris to Cecil Hayes and Mary Jewell Webb Appleton. He was a retired equipment operator for the Logan County Road Department.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann Appleton; two sons, Clifford Appleton and Ashley Appleton both of Paris, Arkansas; three daughters, Julia Cowie, Beverly Friddle and Wendy Appleton all of Paris, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary "Sis" Oman and Janice Galbraith both of Minnesota and two brothers, Cecil Leon "Sonny" Appleton of New Blaine, Arkansas and Bill Appleton of Paris, Arkansas. Pallbearers were Daniel Patterson, Daniel Stinnett, Mitchell Stinnett, Edward Blaylock, James Atchison and Bill Young.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Grandchildren and the Logan County Road Department.
