Barbara (Bristow) Mize the daughter of Pelham Bristow and Coy (Boatenhammer) Bristow. Calvin Eugene Mize the son of Charles C Mize and Willie (Holobaugh) Mize. Calvin 17 Jan 1928 - 24 May 1995 is buried at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan, Lawrence County, Arkansas.

Barbara J. Mize, 89 of Lynn, died Friday January 26, 2018 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.
She was born September 20, 1928 in Lynn, Arkansas to Pelham Bristow and Coy Boatenhammer Bristow.
Barbara was a loving wife to Calvin, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and was a member of the church of Christ. She was loved by her family, friends, and others lucky enough to have been in her company. Her absence is felt by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin; daughter, Theresa Mize Asberry; and brother, Benny Brooks Bristow.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Rainwater and husband Gary "Duck"; granddaughters, Melissa Durham & husband Eddie, and Michelle Evans & husband Randy; great grandchildren, Dustin (Breanna) Durham, Hunter (Felicia) Durham, Tamara (Cody) Harris, Colman (Jessica) Evans; great-great grandchildren, Easton, Sasha, Bailey, Zane, Newt, Owen, Kree, Graham, Everlee, & Cole; brother, Burl (Sue) Bristow; and sister-in-law, Gwen Bristow.
Visitation is Monday January 29, 2018 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Church of Christ in Lynn, Arkansas.
Funeral services follow immediately at the Church at 3:00PM with Kenny Townsley and Gregg Cooper officiating.
Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery, in Lynn under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
