Arvel Otto Honea, 90, of Altus died Thursday, December 19, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was born July 28, 1912, in Ozark. He was a retired coal miner and a Pentecostal. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Ann Scott and Lois Rogers, both of Paris; two sons, Gaylan Hones of Etna and Roger Lee Honea of Ozark; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
