Mary Elizabeth Honea, 82, of Fort Smith, formerly of Scranton died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, a Pentecostal and preceded in death by her husband, Chester Honea.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at McVay Cemetery in Paris.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Lewis of Lavaca and Martha Sosa of Fort Smith; two sons, Lonnie and Garland, both of Fort Smith; three sisters, Virginia Besier of Paris, Viola Groh of Tyler, Texas and Laura Stokes of Waldron; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Bartley, Everado Santchez, Steve Harris, Claudye and Shepman Lowery, and Bobby and Doug Wingfield.
The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
