Phillip W Parker the son of Lester Franklin Parker and Stella Margaret (Neece) Parker. Peggy Ann (Lawrence) Parker the daughter of Marvin L Lawrence and Johnnie Estell (Haigwood) Lawrence.

Phillip Washington Parker, 90 of Smithville; died April 10, 2018 in the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Born December 9, 1927 in Eaton; son of Lester and Stella Niece Parker. He married Peggy Lawrence on February 27, 1954. He was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran and he was retired from General Electric.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy; three sisters, Charleen, Mary and Cathryn; and a brother, Bob Parker.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Parker Jr and Randy Parker both of Eaton; a daughter, Jane Parker of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Randall Parker of Eaton and Caitlin Parker of Augusta, Georgia; a brother, J.L. (Karen) Parker of Eaton; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 A.M. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church near Eaton with Bro. Don Winfrey officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn.

Visitation will be from 9 A.M. till 11 A.M.

Peggy Ann Parker, 79, of Eaton, died Aug. 19, 2012, at her home.

Born Aug. 14, 1933, in Alicia, she was the daughter of Marvin and Johnnie Haigwood Lawrence. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Parker; two sons, Phillip Parker Jr. and Randy Parker, both of Eaton; a daughter, Jane Parker, Hot Springs; two brothers, Larry Lawrence, Cave City, and Doug Lawrence, Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Randall Parke and Caitlin Parker.

Funeral is Thursday at 2 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Home with Bro. David Morris officiating. Burial will be in Old Lebanon Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
