Joni Leigh Burns, 38, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 15, in Ozark. She was a teacher in the Ozark School District and was of the Baptist Faith. Joni was born October 16, 1977 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James David and Rhonda Burt
Robison.

She is survived by her husband Jerrod Burns; her parents David and Rhonda Robison; five children, Dillon, Kalli, and Jaci Bonds, and Brock and Brooklyn Burns; and one brother, John David
Robison, all of Ozark. Joni was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents John and Alice Robison and maternal grandfather Teddy F Burt, Sr.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Ozark with Pastor Jeff Jackson officiating and burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Serving as pallbearers are John David Robison, Danny Robison, Dwight Robison, Teddy Burt Jr, Rick Brumett, and Derrick Robison. Honorary pallbearers are nieces and nephews, Wyatt
Robison, Bryant Burns, Briley Burns, and Class of 1996.

Joni will be laid to rest with her great
grandmother Alma Stanley and great uncle Claudie Stanley Sr. We are all grateful that Joni will have eternal life with our Lord. Until we meet again.
