FAYETTEVILLE — Lucy Ellen McDaniel, 71, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Fayetteville.

She was born March 8, 1941, in St. Paul, Ark., the daughter of Charlie J. Jones and Pearl Gay Vanover Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert McDaniel; her parents; three brothers, George Jones, Clinton Jones and Charles Jones; and two sisters, Opal Calico and Cleo Ahart.

She was retired office manager for McDaniel Truck Shop.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Davis and Robby R. McDaniel, both of Fayetteville; a daughter, Judy Edens and her husband Alvin of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Lisa Davis Edgeman of Prairie Grove and Tonia Townsend of Fayetteville; two brothers, Jimmy Jones of Farmington and Arlen Jones of Twin Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Vonnie Ogden of West Fork and Gearldean Pierson of Greenland.

Visitation will be held 5 p.m. today, April 17, at Moore's Chapel and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at Hester Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Drawer 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.
