July 26, 1943 - June 29, 2014
JoAnn Lloyd Wynne, 70, of McGehee, Arkansas passed away from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR.
JoAnn was born in Dermott, Arkansas on July 26, 1943 to the late Hershel and Mary Bell Lloyd.
JoAnn was a faithful member of Chickasaw Baptist Church in McGehee, AR. She was employed as Personnel Director for Automatic Vending of Arkansas in Pine Bluff for 20 years. After early retirement, she moved to McGehee where she became Complex Manager for New Millennium Apartments.
Before JoAnn lost her battle to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), she enjoyed cooking for others, planning parties and family reunions, and church activities. She was viewed as the family matriarch and the glue that bonded the families together.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tinker O. Wynne, of 30 years; one half sister, Mary Catherine Vardaman; two half brothers, Jim and Jerry Hopkins; and one grandchild, Ashton Moseley.
JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Tammy Moseley of McGehee, AR; son, Tim (Sherry) Wynne of Pine Bluff, AR; three brothers, Ronald (Ann) Lloyd of Selma, AR; Leon (Sandra) Lloyd of McGehee, AR, and Charles Lloyd of McGehee, AR; one half sister, Martha Sue Collins of Oklahoma City, OK; sister-in-law, Alpha Hopkins of Pine Bluff, AR; as well as three grandchildren, Justin and Joey Wynne, and Jennifer Fratesi.
Funeral services will be at 2pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, AR with Rev. Kenny Hogue officiating.
Pallbearers are F.H. Gill, David Baker, Lloyd David Baker, Warren Collins, Lance Ryan, and Kenny Hogue.
Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, AR.
