Inscription reads: Organist at First Presbyterian Church 1918=1987
Elizabeth C. Harrington was the only child of Bess and Sam Harrington. She was educated at the Hutchinson School in Memphis, an all-girls private school, but was a lifelong resident of Marianna. For over sixty years she was the organist at the Presbyterian Church in Marianna. She read extensively and had a very keen mind, but a younger friend also described her as "a Southern lady in the true sense [who] had a full life of music, plants, church, glassware, pets, and friends."
