Denise Elaine Eiland Guess, 53, of Chidester, AR moved on to her Heavenly Mansion, surrounded by her family, her cookbooks and her close friends, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at her beloved home at Red Hill. She did so, very reluctantly. Denise spent many years working with the public in Banking. She was currently employed at her most favorite job, working for National Technical Systems.
She is survived by her husband, John; her daughters, Cherika Robertson and husband, Scotty; and Cherity Godwin and husband, Matthew; her mother, Jean Horn; brother, Denny Eiland; sister, Theresa Perry and husband, Mark; nephews, Jake Perry and Josh Guess and wife, Terri; her most precious grandson, Harper Kyle Robertson; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Guess and wife, Rita along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and untold friends.
She was preceded in death by her nephew, Jamie Perry; her Nana, Carlene White; and her father, Rufus Eiland.
Denise was a member of Cullendale First Baptist church most of her life, until she moved to Chidester where she worshiped at Red Hill Methodist Church. Services were held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden.
