Mrs. Ida Payne Elliott, age 81, of Rt. 2 Stephens died in a Camden Hospital Saturday afternoon. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dovie Bankston, of El Dorado, Mrs. Myrtle Poindexter of Stephens and Mrs. Margaret Hartman, of David City, Neb., one sister Mrs Rose Rhue of Memphis, seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services was in the First Baptist Church of Stephens at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Elliott Cemetery. Camden Funeral Service was in charge. (Camden News - November 15, 1965)
