Mrs. Nannie Murphy Harrell, 72, of 929 W. Fifth, died Thursday in a local hospital. Funeral services at at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Young's Chapel with Dr. Don B. Harbuck officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. She was born Dec. 18, 1901 in Union County, the daughter of John Perdue Murphy and Carrie Emily Turner Murphy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Robert Lee Harrell, of Vivian, La.; a daughter Mrs. Olive Dulin, of Dallas, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Weeks of Shreveport, La., Mrs. Kay Reed, Mrs. Rhonda Craby and Mrs. Neila Ryan, all of El Dorado. Mrs. Ryan was a twin sister of the deceased; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will be at the residence of Lee Ryan, 1601 Emmett. (El Dorado News Times - November 29, 1974)
