Katherine Marie Jolley, age 96 of Bedford, Texas, formerly of Lake Village, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Parkwood Health Care in Bedford, Texas. She was born April 28, 1918 in McGehee, Arkansas, to the late James and Maudie (Moss) Loyd. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a teaching degree and then later went on to the University of Fayetteville where she received her master’s in teaching. She retired 33 years from teaching after teaching in Japan, Texas and finally at Montrose academy as principal for the 6th grade. She was a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village, Arkansas.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Jolley; a brother, Weaver and Barbara Loyd, 2 sisters, Frances andatherine Marie Jolley, age 96 of Bedford, Texas, formerly of Lake Village, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Parkwood Health Care in Bedford, Texas.
