Clara
1879 - 1944
Clara, wife of John Cyrous Henry was indeed Clara Manley. She was born in Ransom Twp., Hillsdale Co., Mich., as Clarissa E. Manley, dau of Samuel M. Manley & Nancy Andre. She was named after her grandmother Clarissa Douglass. The Manleys & Douglass were in Williams Co., Ohio, but some of them moved just over the state line. My sources are accurate as my family has lived on both sides of the state line since the mid 1800's. I grew up there. Started this genealogy thing in the 70's.
