Marilyn J. Harris, age 72, of Lake Village, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant, Arkansas. She was born February 21, 1938, in Monticello, the daughter of the late Robert E. Lee McClendon and Virginia Palmer McClendon and was a homemaker and a member of Lake Village First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim D. Harris. Survivors are 2 sons, William Robert Harris of McGehee and Jimmy Lynn Harris of Benton; a daughter, Deborah Lee Judkins of Rhome, Texas; a sister, Betty Braddock of Lake Village; a brother in law and sister in law, Phillip and Vada Mae Harris of Bryant; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Admeic, Courtney Conklin, William Harris II, Shana Donatha, Kira Scott, Molly Harris and Bodie Harris, and seven great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express Special Thanks to the staff of Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at Bishop Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Lake Village First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lauren Moore officiating. Burial is in McGehee Cemetery in McGehee, Arkansas, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
