McGEHEE — Hazel Hampton Cantrell, 101, of McGehee died Friday at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock.
Born Sept. 8, 1905, in England (Lonoke County) to the late Adam Hampton and Dora Lanquill Hampton.
She was a retired consultant for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Victor Cantrell.
Survivors include a daughter, Flora Bell Stepherson of McGehee; two sisters, Evelyn Stepherson of Valapariso, Ind., and Mary Mills of Jacksonville; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of McGehee with Dr. Tommy Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of McGehee.
